jcza Posted July 22, 2013 Share Awesome Tour, fantastic coverage and worthy winner! New stars - Kittel, Quintana, Bakelandts, Impey, Sagan (ok he was already a star), Porte. Can't wait for the Vuelta and hoping for a Porito victory. Surely Cadel must be thinking of retirement? Contador must also be wondering if he has another Grand Tour victory in him. E1A104 Posted July 22, 2013 Share Was wonderful to see SA Cycling coming to the fore with Impey. Look forward to seeing him do well in the next few years.
Wyatt Earp Posted July 22, 2013 Share Barking up the wrong three - no this is only his second green jersey, next years tour he will maybe get his third. There ,fixed it.Said way before last year I can't stand him. Also a little pointless becoming envious when you know well within yourself there is just no way possible for me to be in the same league.I become envious of people who are humble in their win and humble in their defeat.Oh and maybe guys with monster dicks. GLuvsMtb Posted July 22, 2013 Share Porte was on this Tour what Froome was to Wiggins last year. The illegal feeding by Froome via Porte will linger with me for a while still.

Chro Mo Posted July 22, 2013 Share biggest disappointments this year? IMO it has to be Andy Schleck and Cadel EvansAndy Schleck - not so much. He's on the up now - maybe he won't win again, but next year he will be competitive in the mountains Cadel Evans? Not disappointed, just resigned - I'm afraid it is over for him, now. His days as a GC rider are done.I think he can be super competitive in the classics and the harder one day races, but stage wins are about it in grand tours for him. He could be an awesome mentor in the Hincapie mould - kind of grow out of the sport in a dignified manner. That's my hope, anyway. Face Plant Posted July 22, 2013 Share @ Wyatt, i think you being a harsh on Sagan, he is still a youngster i think we all showboated a bit when we where younger? i know that is where a lot of my scares came from! cant say i have seen anything in the media to conclude that he is arrogant, i must say that i had that opinion about Cavendish till i followed him on Twitter during the tour, he seems to be a lot more humble that what i thought or should i say than what i saw in the media. i think the Tour has always had riders with "personality" and IMO Sagan is no different PS. Sagan is a MTBer thats got to count for something nickc

jcza Posted July 22, 2013 Share Why, he might never win it again but he still worthy of being a professional cyclist. He is a grand tour winner and won't continue as just another professional cyclist to make a living. I believe he will race to win, not to make up the numbers.
Wyatt Earp Posted July 22, 2013 Share The biggest disappointment this year was Contador.I am not a fan, but admire him and firmly believe he is capable of so much more.In the greater context of things ,he was carrying too much weight and I got the impression that he did not prepare hard enough for this tour.Perhaps he was not hungry enough for the win.
