hmm the support Jag's electrics apparently let him down sometime last week ...

Apparently due to a cooler bag full of melted ice falling over in the boot... But ja, they got some unwantet PR there. Edited by dracs

Nope - don't think so.

He's quite friendly - read an article by a journalist about how he interviewed Lemond at the height of his fight with Trek. Lemond saw the terrible condition of his bike, was incredulous that he actually rode it, then immediately offered this penniless nobody journo one of his own bikes from his garage.

He may not be everyone's favourite, but he will always be a hero of mine because he evokes such a sense of time and place for me - he was champion when I first became interested in cycling.

Looking at that previous champs pic, Monsieur Le Mond looks like an unfriendly bugger.

I will get grilled and pulled over the coals if I was to say something about the man again.

Disappointments for me, and I guess they are getting on and play a more background roll now, Roche and Chavanel.

Cuddles I feel a lot of sympathy for. In his prime he rode clean against cheats. That's my feeling anyway.
