It's hard to determine whether Froome was strong over the crest as no one really chased.

Exciting stuff though!

According to rumors Contador was heard to squeal "¿qué coño estás haciendo rostro pálido" at Froome

(According to Google Translate, in any case...)

That's the friendly version.

Try google translate for just " ¿qué coño "

According to L'Equipe, Andy cried himself to sleep after seeing Froome Dawg's show of strength

Froome's move was not wise. He doesn't have to show his strength. Everybody know it. If he was afraid to descend in the pack, he showed a weakness. He wasted energy.

Wow

What scenery

Incredible, although not much time for the cyclists to appreciate it with the hairpin bends and sheer cliff drops.

It looks as though Geraint Thomas isn't going to be in the race for much longer. The guy is clearly in a lot of pain after fracturing his pelvis in stage one. A potentially big loss for Sky when they need to do pace making later in the tour.

I wonder how much an Island like Corsica benefits from the TV publicity?

Definitely added it to my list of possible places for a short getaway
