ADe Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 , I feel your pain. Did 50km on the bike this weekend and I'm still busy recovering. Took a 3 week holiday and put on 4kg, so it's back to salads and water for a while.True, the extra weight I gained in the off season is probably where the "brick" feeling came from. But I get a lot of comfort, maybe too much, from the fact that I only started training in October last year (running only end of November) for the 70.3 due to an injury. So I am already ahead of last year.

Firstly it would depend on how long you go for - the area where the race/expo ect are is not great but there are nice areas within 5kms, nicer beaches, shopping ect if you are making a time of it. Last time I visited I stayed a a nice place called Arum lilly in Nahoon - else PM me for more info

Was not planning on doing it again, i did 3, but looks as if its gonna be a good one. I am reconsidering..... problem is i am getting married in December. therefore my man rights are halved and time, well you married okes tell me!?.
