Man I remember the last time I flew and I though I had taken them off and they showed in the X Ray ... had to unpack everything right there and got escorted out of the airport to 'dispose' of them. ie throw them in the bin (outside of the building)

Seriously no bombs in your bag you check into the hold? Glad you warned me of that

Good strategy. Lose 3kgs in the next 2 days. Then get strength back in following 2. Then hit 70.3 at full strength, only lighter and faster.

Quote from Slowtwitch on knowing when you're close to race weight:

"the trick is to keep losing weight until your friends and family ask you if you've been sick. then you know you're within 10 pounds. if they start whispering to each other, wondering if you've got cancer or aids, you're within 5. when they actually do an intervention, you're at race weight."

Got my stomach bug last week Wednesday, thank god it's basically out of the system. Keep those fluid and electrolyte levels up

Ahh the week of stress and doubt.

Have I trained enough?

Am I over-trained?

Should I have bought an aero road helmet?

Perhaps I need a bike fit?

Is that a tickle in my throat?

Carboloading?

7 or 8 bar?

Which goggles, what if the strap breaks on my race pair?

Should I try that new nutritional product?

Could Tim Noakes be right?

Bunkers Hill isn't that bad is it?

Should I really be trying new shoes after only 40km 32km in them?

Should I go harder on the bike than last year?

One tube or two?

One bomb or two?

Should I have put new tyres on?

Hope the airline doesn't smash my bike

And the list goes on

Holy crap - its like you're in my mind!!! Thought about all the ones in bold in the last few days.... Plus one biggie you missed: How much to taper this week!?

Whats a taper? Sounds like a cocktail or something used in fashion design
