Just got back from 2 weeks in the Alps

Week 1 the Mega at Alp D'Huez...crazy race, crazy riders, but what an experience

Week 2 was BSM for a day

PDS for 3 days

and Verbier for a day

All really good in different ways.

None of the 3 of us had ridden in the Alps before, all I can say is do it. Rent a camper, and hit the road. If you are changing locations drive in the evenings, lifts close at 5 and it gets dark at 10...plenty of time to move around.

Pretty much already talking about the next trip....this stuff is super addictive.

Nope. I want to have fun. Racing Falling on your face because the 30 other guys vying for the same line rode over you ain't fun. But I'll meet you in Morz afterwards.

Fixed it.

Yeah. I want to hook my bike to the lift and bang out as many runs as possible in a day. Then when the lifts close for the day I want to have a multibeers at a pub and soak up the day. Then roll back down into town. All those okes that say sh@t like "I don't like bike parky tracks bruu" have never been to a bike park. Bike parks are the bomb.

If I ever go to heaven it's going to be a bikepark. With a warm water funneling sand bottom left hander next door.

But sadly I'm going to hell so it will be. 9 hour flight from Nigeria followed by 6 hours in transit. Followed by another long haul flight. And repeat to eternity.

Dates are 18-31 July.

Anyone keen on doing something Actually Epic rather than THE epic? There's a shared house that's going to be booked. Most likely self catered with a capacity of 10. There is scope for a second house depending on numbers. PM me and I'll get you on to the guys who's organizing. It's not me this year. Too much of a ball ache.

Riding in the Alps is TRULY amazing and if you have any interest is an amazing trip this should be the first one you do.
