Had a look at the photos of the accommodation and it alone makes the trip worth the money. Great food and scenic views!

How are we going to survive waiting 10 months!!!

  • We're going for a longer time making lift passes and accommodation more expensive.
  • Every time JZ opens his flabby mouth we get screwed
  • we are staying in a significantly better spot
  • we are staying in a catered accommodation.

You could do it cheaper or better. but not cheaper AND better.

Typing this from my chalet in Les Gets. My nerves this place is ridiculous.

Mount CherieJump Park and perhaps one or two others on the cards for tomorrow

Cant wait

Yeeeee. Nice one Brad. Lot's of pics. Apparently they've been building new lines on the jump park. Oh listen. here's a place on the main drag called le burger 411. something like that. it's got green chairs. they do a burger chips and coke for 8.50. the one closest to the lift is 10 or 11 Euro.

OMM,

Do you have recommendations locally/otherwise for the following?

1. Protective gear (knee/shin guards etc)

2. Helmets

3. Backpacks (I have a Camelback but limited space for a few spares and tools)

I would say Dialed bikes for most of that stuff. As far as helmets go you should definitely try one on. Buying online is not a good plan in my opinion. just in terms of fit etc.

Agree 100% on the helmet fitting. Bought my full face and Enduro lids online and got very very lucky with fit. Measurements are only that accurate.

Knee pads are crucial. Nothing sucks more tha busting a knee open or damaging ligaments. Get something with shin protection if you run flats.

Goggles. Might not seem important but dust, bugs and water in your eyes will suck.

Backpack or hydration pack with enough space for some snacks and a waterproof jacket of sorts.

And a sense of adventure.

Oh. Just buy a lid in Morzine. Why do I have to do ALL the thinking around here guys?
