Eek. Bikes are expensive to rent over there. If you absolutely can't take your own bike I suggest getting a rental from Torico. And you may as well rent a DH bike. There's loads and loads of free vertical so pedaling efficiency and those types of things are not important.

Unfortunatley, cant take my own bike.

Next time a will organise for 2 weeks and defiletly take own bike.

It is last minute, as I am France for work,

got a quote from Alpine sports

the XC bikes are new 2013 GT Force 2's and are €60 per day, and the road bikes are either GT Carbon Elites or GT Series 3's, all new and are either €45 or €35 per day.

I hope someone has the new Cube Stereo 160 65b that I can hire (i can only dream)!

Yeah Alpine sports are really nice friendly brits. i rented a bike from them in 2011 when mine showed up late. Whereabouts in Morzine are you staying?

Oh niiice. It's kind of on the way to Morzine from Geneve. Sort of behind Mt Cherie. Must get feedback from the wife on being there. We booked through owners direct too. I think that's a great way to book accom for Europe.

Where on Zore is that? I'm guessing where it opens up and they had those 3 little tables as you exit one tree area and head into another (the one with all the roots)

I reckon it's up top near the mini road gap (isn't it in the background on pic #2?).

aaah I see!

So would I be right in guessing that this line (as seen in the last pic) IS the road?

Yeah i think it's up there. Hopefully they keep on making this track all the way down. They said there was gonna be extensive work done on Zore to make up for the loss of pleney.
