Superb venue.Yes, pity about the dates clashing.Hopefully canoeists will support it so that we can rejuvenate the old canoe/cycle/run TRIs of the yesteryears (when General Tyres were still Corporal Tyres)Good news also for those marginal swimmers (like me) who feel somewhat insecure without the buoyancy of their wetsuits: if, on the day, it turns out to be a wetsuit-illegal swim, you can jump into your canoe instead!

kennyg Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Dont plan on a wetsuit swim. In Dec, the dam temps are between 26-30 deg. Your only hope to get a wetsuit legal swim, is cold and lots of rain in the villiers to Harrismith area. Prepare to cook. Do we have any insight to how the course layout look yet? It goings to be a great event.
