Most of the time by the time the guys body says enough he is long enough into it to either move over to a supervisor role or move over to ROV's, or planning or something.

For the period I was, yes it def does.

 

I've found that normally I dive like crazy for 2-3 years, then dead slow, little diving for 2-3 years,

 

Done most of anything possible around, Commercial, mixed gas caving, DM, instructor, Free etc etc.

 

now I just like to go bubble blowing. (haven't for ages though, need to change my gear to sport diving first, all tech still).

My points were valid but perhaps I was just over zealous explaining them.
