Raab Posted June 7, 2013 Share Hi Guys Apologies if this has been posted before, couldn't find anything.Currently building up a bike for my wife and would like to put some good quality flats on the bike, she will not be going crazy on the bike just doesn't want her feet cleated in. So riding will be mostly dirt roads etc so I don't see a need for anything with hectic spikes. I was thinking of these but I am open to suggestions. They are probably the most celebrated pedal out there, at least on Hubville... Those, or the budget (but still good) option of DMR v8's.Those SAINT's look good with their replaceable pins though. And the only difference between those and the v12's (afaik) is that the v12's use magnesium and the profile is slightly smaller. DMR v8's for me, budget-wise. I haven't had any issues (and I am not even using proper shoes). I agree about the slipping, I bought them for my commuter but tried them on the trail bike to see... I think in really wet conditions one might have issues. But if you keep your weight in your feet and have proper shoes, I can't see them giving big issues...
