Unfortunately no late entries will be accepted on the morning of the event

Just entered. Only thing is.. there is a cycle lab about 10 minutes from me. Do I really have to drive to Paarl to pick up a race pack?

Not a lot of details available. Closed roads, open roads, traffic department assistance? Only for the racing snakes or can "normal humans" ride the event. I wil take about 4 hours to do the 80 km on my mtb.

The event is for all, mere mortals and racing snakes, the 110km route is for the serious riders and forms part of the winter series, the 80 km is for the less serious, but still hard enough to be a challenge, the 80km will start at 09:30 with the 110 starting an hour later, the idea behind this is to give the less serious an opportunity to finish there race and to the be able to watch the more serious finish the race.

 

 

 

The race will finish at the top at the Taal Monument, so there is a chance that it might for once not be a bunch sprint, there will unfortunately not be road closure but we do have sufficient marshals and the assistance of the traffic department
