PM XTC1. I know he had a crank with this mod and is selling some of his bikes so might have the crank available to sell.

Yeah I've been following that thread. What I meant is a few more details n method of polishing ie. what compound to use from that kit and in what order etc.

I got my cranks to a brushed finish using 800 grit water paper. Then I used the green compound in the polishing kit on the medium sized polishing buff chucked in my electric drill. It took all of 15min per arm to polish the cranks. I didn't polish the back of the cranks or do a really good job around the spider because I didn't remove the cranks from the bike this time around. Who looks at the back of the cranks anyways???
