Would strips of velcro on the outside of the bibs and inside of the shorts stop the shorts from slipping down?

My problem isnt slipping down...they pull up ...hate it when they go sit around my belly button.

the hard 1/2 of Velcro on the baggy shorts will scratch the legs/lycra/ruin it eventually. So better idea to put that but on the lycra and the soft sticky 1/2 on the baggy sort.

I like the 2 seperate cause then I can use the bibs for my road-racing-career too  ....

Would also be a lot less painful should you choose to take a soil sample....

Having the padded lining sewn into the shorts is ***. Removable lining is better. So in this case wearing any shorts you see fit over your existing bibs is far more economical. Gives you the freedom to wear your u/16 rukpy short whilst on the baak and not just to braai's and H2o.

Personally, I'm trying to re-introduce this look when I'm out for a 'peddle'.

Could do.

But I have found that with shorts like the TLD Sprints, there is no slipping down.

They have 2 velcro straps on each hip so they can be tightened up nicely. The waist band has that silicone grip (similar to some lycra and the inside of a goggles strap) so it doesn't slide down. In fact these with bibs work rather well as the silicone grips on the bib and not on your hip bones, which can sometimes rub them raw.

No man. Get rid of the skinny wheel thing. Rather buy DH bike with the money :whistling:

MTB, idea is padding goes into lycra, which is held nice and tight in place, with lekker baggy over the outside, casual, better protection, pockets etc.

remember the Spanish/Merida rider in the Epic.
