this irritates me, hes moaning about a contract offered to him for the rest of the season after his return from a doping suspension, he should A, be lucky to even get an offer, from a World Tour team none the less and B, he should not even be welcome back to professional cycling......

it's time the sponsors take a stance, if the UCI wont ban for life, the sponsors can easily make it possible by not hiring this effers.....

rant over.

So lets assume that he was set up by the team to

- keep him quiet

- devalue his contract

whatever other reason,

then there may be a trust issue as to why he does not want to go back to Radioshack.

Might be a case of welcoming back with open arms while knives in hand.

People who intentionally dope shoul be pitched out. but cases like Schleck's maybe he deserves a 2nd chance

Now that brotha Frank is out in the cold how long will Andy stay after his hissy fit about the termination of Frank's contract? Reckon they will both be on some team together next year. Maybe Argos Shimano can pick them up to get some coverage in the mountains and not just on the finish line

sentiments like that are not going to clean up the sport.......i'm still irritated that Contador was even allowed to start the TdF.....I though you couldnt ride for a WT team after a doping suspension for a period of time, like you had to sign with a pro-conti for a year or 2?

They mentioned yesterday that Trek will be the sole sponsers of that team next year, maybe they will forgive and forget.

Heard Andy wont ride in any team without his bro, Trek also signed Sparticus

Oh! Was under impression they terminated Franks contract. At least that was what Alzheimer Ligget mentioned during one of the stages

Leopard did fire him......but Trek USA bought the license from From Leopard owner,Flavio Becca.

Trek is now giving him a second chance

Cool! Thanks for clearing that up for me

Becca "fired" him when his doping suspension ended. He then changed his mind and offered him a contract for the rest of 2013 season. Frank doesn't like the new contract.

It seems that Frank and Andy will ride for Trek, the new sponsor of the team, next year.

Not sure where you got that from.

Interesting - more and more teams where the bicycle manufacturer are becoming the main sponser:

BMC, Cannondale now Trek.
