Frame Weights

The new Scott Addict frame and fork is under 1kg

That's light! Frame weights have been hitting sub 800g the last year or two without any issues. And what's even more impressive is most of those do not have a weight limit.

Hi all,

Please help me out here.

In terms of a carbon frame weight, what would be considered as being light? I am interested in a carbon frame but the weight is 2kg for a small frame, which seems heavy to me.

Ok ok ok,............but what are your time in the Argust?

The one and only time I did it I cracked a sub 3 no sweat on a 7.3kg Felt. I managed a 2h74min! Boom!

It depends on which RC 7000 it is. There were three variants. The 2007 were tanks. 2008 were lightish. The 2009 and 2010 were sub 1kg

Cool. Just give me a minute or 63. Will need to break it down in HT / dual and maybe 26 / 29 as well. Let's get cracking...

Thanks.

To be honest, I'm not overly concerned about the weight. I'm about 60kgs so it bothers me far less than some other guys. I just don't want to waste money on a frame that heavy by comparison.
