And your poor grasp of the English language is enough to make everything you said null and void...

Clit, is that you or peanut butter?

Easy... they're all Cycle Lab club riders on Trek Super Fly 100's.

Ah ha! Proof that if they were not clipped in, their bikes would all be hanging vertically from rider 4 - 10's hands... Definitely a team, well spotted patches!

For sure! Had this peleton not been clipped in, this sort of riding could be considered by Ride Magazine to be 'unsafe'.

You know, what amazes me is that this debate will continue for at least another 5 pages, only to be brought up again in a new thread a few weeks later. If you guys cannot see the benefit of clipless then you should really consider taking up golf..

Oh and spiked golf shoes are actually overrated, just so you know!

This the one where you take the pins out of your flats and then ride with shoes with spikes in?

There's an idea... spiked shoes and rubber pedals. No more raked shins...

OR... just people can just stop being stingy and get FiveTens

I think this guy is worse, claims to be a downhill demon (I have seen guys have delusions of grandeur) and claims to never be seen at a marathon.

So ultimately yes, a hacker.

Come to think of it, that does fall in the ZA camp.

Spiked shoes won't work. When your Avid brakes fail and you need to shove your shoe between the fork and tyre. Doesn't end well.

Incorrect. The 50/50's are flats, no clips anywhere near them.

You're thinking of the Crank Brothers Mallets, which have an egg-beater clip in section inside a flat pedal style platform.

Quite right. Thanks for the correction.

Cause nothing says endurance and fatigue more than "blasting" down a hill... :whistling:
