Anyone else come across this show? History Channel 186.

As far as I can work out its a bunch of whinny hicks searching for gold, wrecking rain forests doing so...?!

Guess that's why it's not on NatGeo...

Edit: should probably go under Off Topic Discussions.

I have also just stumbled onto it. As if it's not bad enough that just about every channel on DSTV now has some kind of reality gold rush show, now they are tearing up the amazon as well :cursing:

Yeah, so many reality shows on DSTV now its ludicrous, although I have to say I usually enjoy Gold Divers, the other gold shows dont really interest me and my pet hate reality show is "Counting Cars" - man that smooth talking, ultra cool dude with the pony tail and the 60's vocabulary drives me insane.

I'm with you on "Counting Cars". I much prefer "Chasing Classic Cars". The old guy doesn't have an ego and makes the show about the cars, and not himself. Very un-American of him.

Yes, "Chasing Classic Cars" is actually an excellent show in my view, that old boy knows his cars for sure and indeed, he has no ego and just talks like a normal person, I quite like his show.
