How long do the tendons take to heal? My doctor said one month. I'm 15 days away and I'm not feeling any better than I did the day I fell.

Try 6

Try - maybe NEVER...

This subject really needs to be split into a few categories to make better sense to me - but it gets tricky as soon as you subdivide it further by anatomical region... I was going to put some detail into this, but it is badly skewed by what I see professionally

1 - Traumatic injuries from a fall or crash

Head/brain injuries

Broken bones

Dislocations

Torn/ruptured ligaments/tendons

Wounds

Abrasions

Ruptured organs

Bruising/Haematoma's

2 - Overuse injuries - just from riding.

Sunburn

ITBFS

Patellae/femoral pain

Numb pubic area - long term , as well as just short term during a ride

Various neuropathies in feet and hands

Saddle sores

Cyclist Illiac Syndrome

Various fungal infections

And so on and so forth...

Does Mental Scars also Count?? Like For instance being denied "Sexy Time" with Wifey for a loong time Because you decide to rather go and cycle than to spend Quality time with the in-laws  :whistling:

It's mostly good for your families mental health - gets you the f... out of their way.... :)

Riding is good for you..... it must be..... my dad said it was...

This is the kind of injury you want to avoid - yes it's an MTB injury... no, it's not my neck...

Sure it was an acute injury? Looks like pretty big osteophytes to me - acute on chronic maybe?
