Yeah. I'm not sure why they didnt call it. They(more than me) are new to bunch riding. Probably just swerved without thinking to call it. They will probably not make that mistake again. :)

Live and learn.

Take your invoice with you and get a new helmet

Please don't try ride with the buggered one

I can say the same for the gloves. Shucks, it could have been bad. But my gear sacrificed themselves for my wellbeing. Kudos.

Always good to remember that all the fun stuff one can do with a hand (and the rest of you of course) outweighs the pricetag on the gear!

Yep. I remember reading a thread once on the Hub, before the hub's crash (even the hub had to crash once :) ), about gloves or no gloves. From experience I can say always glove, even if they are a bit uncomfortable at times. My gloves are completely knackered, but my hands are fine (only one scuff mark from where the glove was ripped away).

Update: went to doc today for a checkup. Got a week's holiday and a stern talk about keeping away from contact sports for a few weeks, but otherwise I'm okay. Now to heal up and get riding again.

Thanks for the support guys! See you on the road.
