So I pulled the trigger on the ZTR's on CWC...

So did I. I'm afraid of the Hope noise but it's just so easy to convert and maintain those hubs that it seems like a solid enough investment at that price.

Sorry for the (sort of) Hi-jack, but since we're onthe topic of hope wheels I was pondering the idea of buying myself a set of "burlier" wheels for trail riding.

I have a set of AM classic MTB on my 1 bike & a set of Easton Havens on the other bike (Shova).

I didn't hear too good things about the AM classics (& no better in this thread) so I started to consider selling off the AM classics as they're still in very good nic & running true & invest in a set of Hope hubs laced to some ZTR Flows.

Then I saw the Nukeproof Generator series wheelsets & only heard good things about them. They use Sunringle rims.

Any thoughts to share?

I run Sun ringle inferno 23 rims on Shimano(406H )hubs and I've had no problems at all with staying true or with the WTB Bronson and Nano tyres I run.

Will be upgrading my hubs to either the Hope evo II or the Sun ringle dirty flea's though.

For Trail-riding also consider the new Novatec Flowtrail Wheelset. Wider rim that can run bigger volume tyres and rated at 100kgs. Also ALL convertors included in the price.

Have a look here: http://www.evobikes.co.za/wheels/wheelsets-mtb/novatec-flowtrail-29-wheelset.html
