Problem is the Yamaha and Ducati boys like the squishy front end while the Honda which is more front heavy needs more support. Its a compromise with the single manufacturer which is why I would prefer to see more tyre manufacturers. It would even that area out at least.

I see Rossi has cancelled his Thursday racer conference appearance, opting for a 15-min briefing session instead. Possible withdrawal from the Mugello race?? His injuries are apparently worse than was reported. Very cagey press releases since the incident.

Retirement? Maybe? Hope not. This is why i say this, I think it his last season, and a season he wanted/had to win. With him probably missing Mugello that's the season done for him. Maybe even the last of 46. Really hope him wrong.

I wont lie to you. I would in all likelihood shed a tear or 2 if that were the case

He is.

Too soon

His season is stuffed, he should rather heal up properly and have a good second half of the championship in preparation for next years title assault. No way he can win this year anyway. He came back too soon last time and I think this is the case again. Big braking zone into turn 1, he will be hurting big time!!!!

It might be too soon after crash... but who says he cant still win title...all it takes is one crash, one engine problem etc.....way to soon to right off season.

I want to agree with you, but he also needs time on the bike unfortunately. They said the earliest would have been LeMans, and they didn't rush to get him out. So that's a good sign to me. Argentina was almost 2 months ago, which should be sufficient time, should be.

what an amazing fiorst few laps yesterday. then it just became a procession. I thing VR was in a lot of pain. He did well to stay in 4th. Shame Poo Lorenzo. He can only stay in front for 2 laps at the moment. The Hondas seem to be struggling yesterday.

It was nice to see a Ducati win in Italy though

That Moto2 race had me shouting at the TV.

Havent seen passing like that in years, the guy just stuffed it up the inside repeatedly - it was awesome watching and was probably the best 4 laps of racing the whole year.

The other two dudes were worried about championships and points so they had to be careful.

This si why the smaller classes are so good.

So Dovi wins on a bike that Wetblanket barely got into the top 10.... whats up with that.

He did ride well though. Jeez those Ducs fly down the straight.

The speed of those Dukes were just too much for the Yammies.

353km/h for Dovi

339km/h for Vinales. Crazy. (faster than an F1, no?) And then they go into a tankslapper at those speeds, before drifting it into the corner. Skills, with big Titanium b@lls.

watching them back it in to those corners when it's squirming around like that is so amazing.

It looks so easy and so simple until you get the on bike cameras....

What is the gap per lap between the Moto2 and Motogp bikes on a trip like Muguello?
