He allegedly hit 80 plus on the previous enduro race too - should be an interesting watch this weekend...

there are a couple of guys on little bikes actually

Mitch Ropelato (USA) is rocking his 29er Specialized Enduro ... and looking mighty fast on it i might add ....

Jared on the SB66 Carbon with 180mm forks

Then Stevie Smith and Nick Beer on specially designed 175mm/165mm travel rigs made by devinci and Dave Wegal,

So lets see what happens

One of those Enduros is the personal bike of one of the local Spez guys, rode it at Karkloof yesterday. What a flippen machine, definitely setup for a more hardcore rider than me!

OMG Can you imagine the circus bike monkeys if Ropelato wins?

Saw pics of Stevie Smiths bike. DAMN!

I still think a 26incher DH bike is going to win. Remember in 09 when everyone rocked custom everything in Aus. Steve Peat still took the win with a big ol v10.

not at all... this isn't Tour de Farce where the riders claim it's about them, but it's actually about who has a better doctor.

THIS.IS.DOWNHILL!

The winner will be whoever has the most bling bike, and wears the brightest pyjamas!
