Well suddenly those climbs in Sabie don`t seem to scare me so much now !!

New Cannondale Electric assist MTB.

I can believe it would appeal to some of our slim American brothers.

If only they could hide the assist better, would love to see the look on some of the CLANS faces when suddenly 3 Towers becomes a easy 3 days, leaving them to eat my dust

Why?? What's the point? Don't like the pedal?! Get a scooter! Don't make a pure race bred look like a hand drill,...

There is alway someone that will look for the easy way out I suppose.

They should have consulted Spartacus on how it is done!

(they should also remove the Lefty ... that does brand damage leaving that on a help-my-trap!)

use it to commute???

if my wife had one she can join me on my rides then we can enjoy riding together...

Good point - I suppose there will also be uses for it.

Don't know anything about it, but it could work on a similar concept to kers, i.e. at the start of the race it has no charge and every time you brake it charges it up which you can then use when you choose to... Don't know all the rules, but usually as long as these systems have no stored up energy at the start of the race they are allowed. The biggest problem is the weight.
