Hi all

I have an option on a 26er Scott Scale full carbon with XTR. Obviously a second hand bike I offered R4500 is it fair? What other info do you guys need ?

Thanks in advance !

Just saw the bike you are talking about. Minimum 7k if you are lucky

Edit - Sorry wrong bike

Definitely worth more than that. R10 000 seems about the going rate for a carbon 26er with good components. But that does depend on the condition of the bike.

I sold my Zula with XX groupo, R1 Brakes, AC wheelset, Fox RP23 kashima coated rear shock, RS Reba (just serviced) for R16k to a friend. I would have gotten much more if I broke her up and sold her body parts, but I knew that she was going to a good home.

Jah, but you rode that bike like a old lady who only goes to the shop and church once a week :P

If it is possible to do a 650b conversion on it even more of a bargain

Don't think u can do a 650b conversion on a Scale. Not without taking a saw to the frame.

I bought a carbon scale for 7k with top of the range components. Think I got really lucky though as the guy was looking for a quick sale. It was his wedding that weekend...
