Seems like he has evaded dope test at the Vuelta.

It did not take long before Christopher Horner enters the Vuelta in 2013 into disrepute after his final victory. Sunday he was still celebrated as the final winner Monday morning and he was already trace for doping control, reports that at least the Spanish newspaper AS.

Spanish Anti-Doping Agency (AEA) wanted a doping test but decrease with Horner found in his hotel room in Hotel Princesa in Madrid teammate to another. According to AS RadioShack team could give no explanation for the "flight" of Horner. If this story is true, anyway Horner is in trouble with his whereabouts ...

The audit was commissioned by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), which wanted to test him before but had to wait until the Vuelta had passed since during the Tour of Spain only the UCI testing might decrease. The 41-year-old American is by a large margin the oldest winner ever of a large round.

I still think he doped.

You don't get talent overnight. ( and not at 41)

It's the usual story, now that everyone else is not doping, he is just good... and clean :whistling:

Yeah, who'm I kidding, I also seriously smell a rat!

Surely you must think that you'll be tested after the sudden improvement.

Maybe he hooked up with one of the podium girls for the night

"The RadioShack-Leopard team has reacted angrily to the reports in the Spanish media, saying that Horner updated his whereabouts information before the start of Sunday's final stage, specifying he would stay in a different hotel. It seems that Horner opted to stay in another hotel in central Madrid with his wife rather than stay in the hotel with the rest of the team. The team say Horner specified the name of hotel and even his room number when he updated his ADAMS information.

The team suggested the Spanish anti-doping inspectors failed to use latest ADAMS whereabouts information and went to the wrong hotel rather than Horner missing an out of competition test.

“There is no problem. The USADA went to the wrong hotel. They went to the team hotel but he is in another hotel. He had mentioned this in his ADAMS. They should do their administration more correctly than they did. They need to check their whereabouts too,” press spokesman Philippe Maertens told Cyclingnews."

Seems like he is on a plane to the USA already.

The truth will come out eventually.

He might be clean I know and the fact that he was the most rested of the GC contenders must have helped.

Just because he was teammates with LA for pretty much his whole carreer the doubt and suspicion will always be there.

He better down a few of those mini drinks on the flight and pee pee loads.

Sure he will get extra in drinks in 1st Class. Unlimited supply of bottled water as well.
