Maybe..can be good 94.7 training.

But i unfortunately can't be in the Flash gang anymore, but my Santa Cruz should suffice I hope...

We will make an exception for the Cruz! They suffice in any company.

I ride a Silverback MTB so can't be to picky.

I'm also using it as fine tuning for 94.7. That and the Mookestsi Marathon the week before.

Sorry to post a technical question. It that a woman specific bike? Just asking, looks fricken nice for a lady. My lady is in the market for a new steed.

No it's not woman specific but the top tube angles on Flash 29 ers are woman friendly as is.

They are light and stiff and the SAVE seatpost and plush fork help the gals on the longer rides.

Let us know how the first ride goes and what the missus thinks.

BTW my Carbon Lefty I got from my LBS - they had a woman walk in (apparently a good rider) and buy a top of the range Dale but flatly refused to ride it with a Lefty - said she would never get the hang of it

They downgraded it to a normal shock and I upgraded to a Carbon Lefty. :)

The Flash frame is a beautiful piece of engineering and design.

Anyone done a 650b conversion on a Flash here? I have one WIP, it's looking good, bit more space with the seat stay bridge than the Scalpel, I am wondering what size tyre I can go up to in the rear, 2.25"?

Kosmonooit - there was a thread about it in the Cannondale secton of the MTBR forums, can`t remember what they said though. Not sure if you have looked there?

Hope to see the both of you on Nov 2nd.

Dale or no Dale we all going to hurt on the hills!

Hi EZ

would love to be there, in fact I have a particularly affinity with the area having spent many a holiday in the area as a kid, but we're going to be at the final Nissan Trailseeker "Down & Dirty" that weekend - already entered,

Just BTW, I would love to take credit for being the rider in the family, but alas that opportunity has long past after way too many years of nicotine abuse, the lungs have all but given up. My son is actually the star of the show, and doing extremely well at present. I am just the coach, mechanic, and sponsor who gets talked into buying crazily priced bicycles by Nick (I'm sure he secretly gets comm from Omnico  )

Let us know how the missus enjoys the new bike.
