My Bike has feelings?

It's been a long Winter with the odd chest infection thrown in between,so decided to dust the old steed off so as to take advantage of this fine weather we have been experiencing in Jozi. Only to notice that my front brake has contaminated pads (XTR) and my rear derailer has a faulty clutch. 12 weeks of no action has just cost me? I have downloaded Kenny and Dolly's Islands in the Stream for when she gets back from the LBS.

Reminds me of that legend who made a facebook profile for his bike which he was then in a relationship with and started complaining when people said he was taking it too seriously.

my bikes also have feelings. I must wash, lube and polish them. Buy them nice things to make them look nice. my wife just dont understand the relationship I have with my bikes

I have a bike mistress and a bike wife. My wife is beautiful and classy. She makes me sweat a bit but the rewards are great. Both of my girls have expensive taste but I lavish gifts on them.

 

My mistress is a goth chick who likes hard rock and a bit of mud. She let's me do stuff I'd never dream of even asking my wife to do.

 

This is us on a recent trip to the Alps.
