Cotic Solaris build

So my wife just gave birth to our second gorgeous son and I thought I'd spoil her a little.

 

Picked this up today.

 

The planned build is going to look something like this:

• Silver rims, hubs and spokes
  
• Silver stem, bar and seatpost
  
• Silver LX cranks that I have already
  
• perhaps a 1x10 drivetrain with a narrow/wide chainring and a clutch derailleur
  
• White fork, perhaps a Reba
  

I hope she likes it!

All I have so far are cranks and a saddle. This build needs to be special as the wife's not had a decent bike in a long time.

 

It's also a great excuse for me to build something really special and unique.

Thomson silver kit or Ritchey classic range will work well...

Thomson or Ritchey are definitely options. I see there's a silver run of Arch EX rims out there. How awesome would that be on silver Hopes with silver spokes?!

I'm running silver spokes on silver Loaded hubs. Got white Crests but I know Loaded do a nice silver option. Hopes on silver Archs will be great too.

Dude. Whatever you decide. Silver rims, baby blue or otherwise. It's a labour of love.

 

 

Personally id do silver superstar on stans and so on.

Great frame, and that colour

 

My two cents on the rims, the silver Spank Oozy would look a treat on that bike.
