Your comment is pretty much due to your error, you chose DHL to a PO Box which will never happen because there is no one to sign for it. You should have chosen DHL to your home address else Parcel Force to your PO Box. This is not a CRC issue, but you error and you blame CRC for it....

No shaper you are are out shape with the story and the facts of the matter.

I did not choose DHL. I choose and paid for 'express shipping' which previously came via Parcelforce. There was no indication or warning that it was going with DHL. I have had problems with a P O Box address and bad service from DHL before. Horrendous in fact. Even so, with express shipping CRC only use DHL if the parcel is a certain mass/size as I found out. And the address is pulled from Paypal. They should pick it up that its a PO Box and get the street address from me before sending it, but some no-brainer computer is processing their orders and making decisions.

Problem was also their call centres: my attempts to sort it out was met by extreme intransigence by randoms in call centres at both DHL and CRC, so eventually I told them the must take it back. Filing a Paypal dispute perked up CRC though.

Whatever you do, don't take the "express shipping" option, it then goes via DHL and then the problems start ....

Check out Evans Cycles and UK Bikestore, also good prices, better service.

Ordered and paid last week Moday at about 13:00 from CRC via DHL. Paid VAT of about 15.8%. So shipping express was £40 on placing order. DHL handling was R150 and VAT locally. No VAT paid in UK (20%). Delivered at my door Thursday 10:30. I have done this many times. Even the LBS added stuff that they couldnt get from local distributor. No problem before.

I've used them many times before,

Other than the exchange and handling costs,

They are great/cheap if a large order is place, if the order gets small then all the extra costs and the DHL fees make it expensive.
