No More Baberton Classic in 2014

Did anyone see that there will be no more Baberton Classic next year on the Advendurance Calender?

Nooo! It was such an awesome race, either up or down.

But I'm sure Dullstroom wont disappoint, well hopefully not.

Also looking through the calendar I see there is no Curro/Hazeldean Trailseeker although #5 is TBA. I suppose it makes sense though since both Beast of the East and the ASG race utilize the same trails.

Pity Barberton is gone but I'm sure the MTN race at Van Gaalen will be super tough. Imagine the Ultra route EINA!!

So Van Gaalen replaces Wellington, pity for us okes in the Western Cape.

 

Glad that they moved the Tulbagh date though, this year it clashed with a nice race just down the valley

Pity - personally I prefer GravelTravel to Tulbagh.
