Mawbs Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 So i took the plunge and am now the proud owner of the trance 27.5 - 2 ...will give feedback once i have ridden this weekend. Must say i am really looking forward to having 140mm under me again after 2 years on my Anthem with only 100mm.

I'll be updating them with the same models as Giant hasn't let me know what their plans are for 2015 but I just love the understated decals so much that I don't feel like I can go wrong!

Big John Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 congrats, out of interest has anyone done some XC on their trance? I did the Bastille MTB classic. Have been messed around with Achilles injury so opted for 32km. Bike rode well. was able to push very hard on descents and made great time there. Overall 16/172 - was my best result (after coming off 120mm 26" Merida) so far. Great to be able to make ground on technical/rocky/downhill sections. I did have to flip shock into climb though to be efficient... Had giant dropper fitted and i def think this helps with confidence to go fast on the downs...
