This will give a bit more space without messing up the steering response. On a bike like this you should try to avoid a longer stem than it has already. As long as it doesn't have the original (as in 1st batch that came of the production line) hose and fittings you'll be fine. R1 problems were limited to the 1st batch.

Can't imagine ANYONE will still have brand new first run Reverbs in stock.

Wish I could tell you that when that pic was taken it was after a ride, but I can't. This pic might be better suited then
