Geez Frail, Queenstown-Umtata-Port Shepstone, some very dangerous roads there, in particular the Umtata-Qumbu-Kokstad section.

The road from Queenstown-Eliot-Maclear-Matatiele-Kokstad, though a lot harder is a safer road, or rather ride through the Freestate.

Hi FRAIL

Respect! GREAT RESPECT!!

Have just done the route via Free State and that is *** as well. There is no shoulder in places and because it is flat, the lorries can get up to very high speeds and the tail starts wagging the dog. But I guess you know all about the truck factor.

I definitely would NOT do the Transkei!!!!!! (We need you alive)

Just my 2c.

Hello Sepia

No worries with me for them Truckers. I always befriend them and most of the Truckers give me Space on the road.

It is the general commuters, re local cars from the area I am passing through, which are dangerous.
