Through my cycling I wish to Raise Awareness for all Old Age Homes in South Africa. Our elders need the attention and care they once gave to us when we were children. My latest Project is to cycle from Cape Town to Swellendam to compete in the Coronation Double Century,thereafter cycling Back again to Cape Town. Departing from Cape Town CBD on Friday morning the 22nd of November 2013. Cape Town to Swellendam.I am looking @ 15 cents a KM.How long do You think it will take for me to Cycle? I will post some Pics later, the first half of the Race before my GoPro decided to Fall Off on the R44. I got to the Event with a little Warm up, Up and Down lower Helshoogte. Leaving in "A" Bunch, I worked my way up Helshoogte with 17mins.We formed a Good group going through Pniel.Turning towards Franshoek feeling good, I went through to the Front.Even coming past the Prison the Group was going well.Then @60km ??? I think my Reindeer got HiJacked!I just started to Slip off the back.I carried on on my Lone some.Regrouping with a Small group before Wellington.Then???I feel something on my back wheel, Its My GroPro that just Bounced onto the wheel and onto the Tar!Quick Stop!Off again.Looking for a group, at last, coming past Nelsons Creek.Recover, Recover.All way to the Finnish. 98km, 2h57.Max speed 75kmAscent 870 metresBurnt 1820Kcalories Wannabe 1
