The problem is that they operate several "legal" bank accounts and once your deposit lands in the account, they no doubt whip it out. Probably all via internet banking. To physically nail these swine must be really difficult.

Funny thing was that when I put it on twitter yesterday someone queried me referring to it as a scam.

In the meantime I'm waiting for the money that was supposedly deposited in my account to clear so that I can pay Alfred...

Based on the information you already have (IP addresses, bank accounts and potential money trails from previous transactions through those accounts), a half decent pi can have this guy behind bars before sunset! If only the banks and law enforcement had the will! Speak to Nedbank's fraud people about what you know.

I have paid the deposit this morning at the Nedbank in Beaufort West and that silly somebody who told me that your account was involved in fraud was very embarrassed. Some people have no sense.

Unfortunately I was only able to pay in R17400.00 because the guy who bought the sheep from me now comes with the story that one of the rams I sold him only has one ball. I asked him why he thought it was called Lance?

Anyway, I think you will agree that R17400 is better than nothing.

Please courier the bike up to me and I will by then have the rest of the cash for you.
