But ja, kidney belt would be a great accessory, I have to say though....its the flippen awesome race...humbles you quick quick
DJ84 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I ride the area every now and then so know roughly what is in store for me.climbs wont be an issue on a sub 8kg steed, but I know the downhills are going to break me a bit. Will need to go for a good massage the day after.

DJ84 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Sub 8 kg Steed, damn mine is almost double that. It sits at 9.2kg's now in race mode.With dropping the fork and going to 1*9 it will be just under 8kg's.Might use the stronger XT's with chunky tires for this race though so 8.5kg's
