Thank you everyone and thank you Wannabe for organizing.

gutted to have missed it and just realised that i've been booked into a family hol @ plett two weeks before the argus and the wild cost the week before driving back to cape town the day before. should be interesting... long :: short = been stitched for anything that involved the argus or training for two weeks before the day in favour of meat, family, beer, family, mates (that I don't know from farming days), beers, man bonding whisky, blah, blah. I'm going surfing, fishing and might take my dirt bike.

I think a lot of guys will be doing the medalion.

It is a great ride.

New route as well.

Also no dirt roads and a normal price tag too $$$ :whistling:

When you're putting a race number on your back again, eksê?

Lol

I was actually thinking about league for spring.

Even keen to go to CAT4. The interclub racing looks fun. (They are also talks about them paying for the entry fees which makes it very enticing :whistling: )

The guys do lots of attacks but in a good fun kind of way.

One guy from another team crashed out in the bouchard race, out of respect the outriders waited for him and he ended up on the podium after that!

So that sounds pretty cool to me.

If I manage to drop some more weight and pump up the fitness again then maybe CAT2 again oneday. But for now I just want to have fun.

You racing at all Dale?

If I was a member of a club, then CAT4 would be very appealing, Woofie.

What a lekka innovation in racing.

I'm not racing this Spring and Summa.

Getting my laaitie through his first 2 years in life. You mos know ALL about that!

Spring racing is a possibility.

@ Woofie - I was in that crash, thankfully wasn't too bad.

I have been cycling for 6 months and find CAT 4 so fun.. the small attacks and tactics simulate what the elites do but obviously not as strong or decisive. The pace does get quite hot if we step it up but it is a great learning platform while enjoying the racing with a friendly environment.

Definately come and join in the next league!
