Down Beyers Naude towards MellvilleLeft into JudithRight into Barry HertzogLeft into EmpireRight into Jan Smuts --> up the hill into townPast Audi and at the robots on Nelson Mandela bridge turn left (think its called Smit Street)Carry on straight through town into Simmonds streetDown Simmonds and immediately after the M2 flyover turn right into Booysens RoadStraight down Booysens roadLeft into Klipriver DriveDown Klipriver, passing the Thaba and Rietvlei turnoffs to the t-junctionRight at the T-junction onto the Vereeniging RoadLeft onto the R557 which should then take you straight through to the Suikerbosrand entrance. Just sit at the Vida in Greenside and wait for him to ride past around 9am - take a tow rope... maybe you can let him keep up... and pull him home when he gets tired... :ph34r:
Thug Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 going to be messy, and dangerous. .... Why? I did that exact route by myself out to Rietvlei a couple of weeks ago and after my loop around Rietvlei, the same way back. No problems or incidents at all.
Tayyib Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I Road suikerbos yesterday for the first time,amazing ride.a group of riders road in while we waited for 7am,they came from edenvale,I'm next door in bedfordview...what would be the recommended route from that area?
