Flashfozzy Posted January 16, 2014 Share I currently ride a Merida TFS300 26" with XT derailers, Mavic SLR rims and a RockShox Dual Air. I have been offered a Merida Big.Nine 1500 Lite with a whole 68km on the clock. Besides the obvious wheel size benefit is this bike going to: Last me 5 years?Be as much fun as my current steed? Is it a worthy purchase at R10K? Is there something better for the similar price? At 90kg, is there any worry of this frame wheel combo failing? Please advise any thoughts good or bad. deanbean Posted January 17, 2014 Share Seems like good value, Fox fork, SLX shadow+ gruppo, Alu frame, but it won't be as nimble as your 26" bike, I think.
