I took a pic of his paw-print in the wet sand. He is a pedigreed dog. Some people got offended by people who buy dogs from breeders, when there are so many rescues that could be adopted. Could you have picked more of a inflammatory idea to replace your previous 100x100 pixel broadcasting of porn. 1st: The use of 'golden' is obviously being used as a superior moniker and at the detriment of all other retrievers. Golden = light = white = continuation of the colonial ideal obsessed with glorification of all that is light and condeming all that is on the other side of the shade wheel as inferior. Have you picked a date to tar a feather yourself? 2nd: As a dedicated ecologist I have to ask did the said pooch contaminate the beach during the photo shoot? Leave nothing but foot (paw prints), take nothing but memories. If it wee'd you're contaminating this clean earth, poo... don't get me started. You just offended mother nature, my world and the world we leave for my 2 year old daughter. You really want to broadcast it to the world? 3rd: As you have pointed out calling an dog as 'pure breed' is automatically discriminating all other dogs as inferior and hugely offensive. 4th: I'm no expert (and forgive me for my ignorance) but I do think that dogs are inherantly offensive to a number of religious groups so I wouldn't go there with any physical representation of your hate agenda.5th: in this modern age the word dog has become sinonimous with the worst that society has to offer. Even by calling the animal that you cohabit with a 'dog' you have already condemned him / her / transgender canine to inferior role that is utterly offensive. 6th: single paw, dual paw or all 4 in the image? 1 paw could be seen as adding power to the cause of all mono ped animals and their plight. OR, by 1 paw you could be mocking all of man's best friend that are less than perfect, again. Please think carefully before such reckless and offensive actions.
