Hey guys,

My bike needs to go in for a service/tune-up. The closest place to me is Linden cycles.

Anyone had an experience with their work w.r.t services and repairs etc?

I often hear stories of guys sending their bikes into places and getting them back in worse shape, so I need somewhere to take my bike that wont rip me off for the sake of it, but whose workmanship is up to scratch.

Any recommendations welcome. Thanks

Only had good experiences in the past.

If there is one small complaint, it's that the shop just gets too busy on a Saturday, and you wait a long time to get attended to. They could do with a bit of an expansion IMO.

But otherwise nothing wrong with the workshop, had several services there...

Linden is very busy, so it's always a good idea to phone and book your bike in. Their service has always been good IMO and when they haven't got stuff 100% right, they're happy to take the bike back and get it sorted without additional charge. They took my bike back probably 3 times when I was having brake trouble.

Just like restaurants that are busy vs restaurants that are quiet... there is a reason why they are busy i.e. people keep going back.

The reason its so busy is because its so small

You cant swing a dead canary around in there

Same as Finish Line...avoid at all costs on a Sat morning

Logic fail. My office is small, yet it's only me and Mark here. How's that work then?

I point out that your logic is flawed: in that a space being small does not cause it to be busy. The number of people that go there at any one time cause it to be busy. Conversely, a big space can be either busy or deserted. This is not a function of the size of said space, but rather of the number of people who go there. As an example, I point out that my office space is small, but there is only two people here, making it "not busy". If your logic is to be followed, the size of my office would mean that is indeed busy, which it is not. Hence my pointing out that your logic, on this particular point, has failed you.

You mean "Que?"

Or are you referring to Gé Korsten?

No, the african ge....

As for the rest you might find the shop not so busy if it was a bit bigger...whatever...I'll go during the week when its not so busy
