Grace period for editing typos

Would be nice if one had a grace period for editing typos in posts, say 5 mins, so that the post is not flagged "Edited blah blah" just after doing a quik fix up.

 

I always need to re-check, often the typos slip through the first check and only become apparent once posted.

 

This has been allowed on other forums I have been on.

Or maybe do it right the first time

sometimes the typo makes for better reading

most can see what was meant to be written even if the grammar is incorrect

I would prefer that should any amendments be made to the origional post, the fonts would automatically be done in bold

Possible - the same forum software that is used on MyBroadband allows this.

I remember one ad in particular we did: it appeared in about 20 different sizes, and each of those got proofread by the proofreader, the copywriter, the art director, the account executive, the account manager, the production manager, and the client. Then, I happened to walk past, glance down, and there it was: "Stockbrocking". I'd read it a hundred times and not noticed.
