How wide is the inside of the rim?

I am more thinking that the rims well needs to be built up more with tape to get a better or rather tighter seal withthe tyre

It is apparently fully Enduro Specific for all Specific Enduro Tyres.

On that topic Clement .... did you by any chance find any old Enduro Specific 1.5" 60/70/80mm stems in your spares box?

Yep, I have 2, one 50mm and one 90mm, so they are not going to do the trick unfortunately

(They are very Enduro Specific though)

Tyre pressure, 20 PSI rear, 16 PSI front with tubes and tyre liners on a hardtail (This tubeless thing is just a passing fad  )

If you are really serious about your enduro'ing and your enduro tyres pressure for Enduro, then consider the new Enduro Specific Floor Pump from Park Tool

Is this pump compatible with 29er or only 27.5 wheels?

Perhaps with a few tweaks. Not compatible with 26"

You can buy a reducer for 26'er and a boost valve for the 29'er.

Just be careful with pushing the handle down as it will go down very fast, and it should go down fast being Enduro and all.

I don't know about running low pressures - if I rail into a berm and my rear tyre makes that grrrrt sound, my stomach churns and I feel death licking at my back, losing all commitment.

Last week I went down Porcupine for a bit of segment hunting, running 2.2bar rear and 2.5 front, launched the first rock of the little rock garden and landed somewhere towards the end. One moeruva klap and the next corner all traction is gone - flat spot, snakebite and spin out in order. And this is on 2.4 Maxxis Ardent with sidewall protection on an i29 rim.  No KOM, bought some farmland and need a new rim...

Back to running 2.7bar up front and around 2.5 - 2.8 bar rear.  I don't really feel traction is a problem cornering hard. Sure it is a harsher ride on the roughstuff, but also peace of mind and so I'll gladly take the harsher ride.

do you by anychance have a 50mm or shorter stem still lying about ... trying to slowly build up a bike for my youngster ...... got a cannondale frame and then a matching dual crown fork with a 1.5" steerer .... need to find a stem to make the combo work.

Holy hell, those are some high pressures.

I've recently used a combo of Michelin Wild Grip'R and Wild Race'R with the reinforced carcass and found that I could run crazy low pressures (tubeless; 1.2bar front; 1.5 back) with little to no tyre roll. I think the reinforced sidewall and the fact that the Michelin's are pretty 'short' tyres (low sidewalls) contributed to this.

Maxxis are pretty 'tall' tyres and might need a bit of extra pressure to counter tyre roll.

Pressure measured on my Serfas trackpump (floorpump) and not digital tyre pressure meter, so could be slightly out, but deffo running very high pressures compared to most it seems...

You need stronger tyres, Nox... :P

Something like Maxxis's DoubleDown or Schwalbe's Super Gravity would be best.

Could definitely be the floorpump pressure gauge that gives a misleading idea of pressure. I'm running around 1.3 bar up front (Citius) and just under 2 bar at the back (Ibex), as measured using a digital gauge. On my Giant floor pump these translate to 2.5 bar up front and just under 4 bar at the back...clearly some questionable accuracy.

I should have a 50mm 1.5" steerer stem, will check tonight and PM you.

You need a quality guage first before fiddling with tire pressures... pump guages suck....
