In the motorbike world inverted forks offer better performance than your std fork. Not sure if it is still the same though. I am referencing some years ago when I had my bike and it came std with inverted forks, referred to as upside down forks. I know alot of people wanted those on the superbikes

weight. Simple. They're able to put far more material in there than we can on MTB's, so the stiffness vs weight thing isn't as much of an issue. Also they need to be dual crown for it to be more  of a possibility

This is a really beautiful fork in the flesh. That is enough reason to own one.  It eliminates the major flaw in a traditional fork, the seal on the stanchion struggling to keep the dirt out.

It will do well in the SA market. After all, Spesh dominates the cross country racing bike scene here, despite costing more and delivering about the same as even my 29ers for 85% of riders.

If you want THE fork, get a lefty. Still the best by some way.

So in the Dh world these should be ideal

Have read a few reviews that weren't too kind, but that's always subjective. Reckon it looks Uber Hot, but R25k & you need a wheel makeover... Rather pay the kid's school term fees. Hopefully she thanks me one day...
