With no rain for a good couples of days now, should not be too much of a mudfest.

did a 20 odd this morning from pnp up to alberts, its all good, one or 2 soft areas but nothing hectic, the landscape though is badly scared from all the riding which has stopped the land from repairing properly in most areas, nothing we can do about that unfortunately. no mud to speak of and still great fun.

the soil is quite damp just below the grass level. Great conditions for trail building, everyone. </hint>

I just want to say a big thanks to those who continually work and improve the trails!

 

This past weekend, I was very impressed to see some makeshift bridges (made from pre-cast wall panels) and laying of fresh soil over some of the dangerous parts from all the flooding.

 

Speaking specifically about the section in Bryanston crossing that little swampy, slippery river.

 

A few weeks ago I saw a oke bail quite hard there, breaking some of his components!

saw a guy wiped out on Fri morn coming down the big dip after Fratellis side, concussed shaking and bleeding, he was with some mates and they called Netcare- is that guy ok?

I saw them taking him away in an ambulance just as they were leaving, with a car following him with his bike - no idea on the damage.
