Wally39 Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I'm a year behind the time. Just started searching for new 2nd hand bike and saw a silverback slider 1 advertised - I did not know about this bike and looks like a super bike. I missed the opportunity to see or offer to buy the bike, it was already sold when I reacted. Do you know where I could find one to trial and/or where to find another 2nd hand one? It needs to be small, always more difficult to find.Give the guys at Euodia Cycles in Hermanus a shout. I was out there this weekend and took the slider 2 for a test run. Really nice ride and the guys there are super helpful. I think they only have mediums but still worth a shot.
Brett Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Ive got a medium and liking it thus far. Im used to bikes with slacker head angles though, so Ill be looking at how to modify that. Soon will be changing the travel up front to 140mm.Ive already changed the bike to 1x10, 32T, 11/36. Onza Ibex front, Vittoria Saguaro Rear. Also fitted a Rock Shox Stealth dropper, my Boobars and stem. Rides really well but I would definitely say its a trail bike. If anyone wants a test ride let me know.Cheers

Hairy Posted November 10, 2015 Author Posted November 10, 2015 So how are the sliders treating you guy's?
henrivdr Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I'm super happy with my Slider  But, I have my eye on that 2015 large frame currently on sale here, I have a 2014 medium, and I think I'm supposed to be on a large.  1.86m tall...

slickjay007 Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Just a quick question to ask if the latest slider 1 just as good as the one reviewed in this thread? I'm in the market for a DS and have read good reviews about the bike.
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 AFAIK it's the same one... new one probably coming in the next year or 2.Â
slickjay007 Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 The bike really looks value for money so now to go and test one out.
