Do you ride a 26er?

I still see a lot of 26ers still riding round Pta East on the weekend, looks like recreational 'I'm trying to lose weight' riders.. but on the roof racks of smart cars returning from races it's all 29ers.

So I think it's people that take the sport a lil more seriously have all upgraded to 29er or the newbie that's just started doesn't have any options of 26ers anywhere when they walk into a bike shop.

I think you need to think again.

I tempted to get a 26er for next bike.

Want to get a squishy bike sometime soon and can get awesome deals in the classifieds here, rather than spending considerably more on a 27.5...

only issue with 26'ers is finding decent trail tyres ...but once you find a decent LBS or two that stock them, life is good!

hang on, I recon this post is a hoax .... I mean, who actually puts their bikes on the roof of their smart cars .... hell a 24" bike has a longer wheel base than a Smart car!

heard you can also just put 27.5 tyres in the oven at around 120 degrees (not too hot) for about an hour....

Just people that fell for the sales hype.

27.5 seems to be the biggest seller at the moment.
