Danger Dassie Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I'd think the olympic mens XC race definitely gets more people, but maybe they add up all the prologue, stages and highlights to one big number. It's like when they say 12 billion people watch the olympics....there's not that many people on the planet, but some watch every day for a whole fortnight. Most televised as in television coverage, not viewership. It definitely could be the most televised MTB event, there's a number of overseas tv crews and the broadcast feed is syndicated across the world.

Obviously they show the highlights every evening on the many different tv channels abroad, same as what we would see every evening on Super Sport and it's not live. Only the Prologue and Stage 7 is live.
