Full suspension frame suggestions for XC

Hello Hubbers,

 

I am looking at upgrading my frame, looking to spend R25k to R40k.

 

Currently looking at:

 

Vipa

Tallboy 2

 

Any other suggestions?

For xc and with a budget of 40k you could do a full setup Giant 29er X1 carbon advanced.

my bud rides one and the maestro suspension is perfect for xc, along with the light weight frame,

xt components, you cant go wrong. plus its got the lifetime warranty on the frame.

Thanks definite great reviews on the Vipa, just not sure if the trade up to the Santa is worth the extra cash

Have full XTR components already, so just need advice on frame.

 

Not the biggest spec fan, just purely my need to be different, awesome bikes other than that.

Go read some of the reviews on the pyga. The reviews alone will make you want one.

The same, worked for the importers. Never left though just started to do what I studied and getting back on the bike again. . And it is a rocky of course. If could afford it I wouldn't mind the pyga 650 onetwenty great reviews.

I am interested in the same question and also looking at these two frames.

I prefer the threaded BB on the Tallboy but the price is an issue.

Momsen !!! please bring the Vipa out with threaded BB!

If I did not have a Epic (and completely BRAIN washed by Spez) I would look at Vipa seems like a great bike and with 1X11. But this is only based on reviews. Still have to ride one myself.

Settled on the Vipa, also have a look at the Ibis Ripley 29. But all depends what you looking to do with the Bike.

 

Vipa is a racing snake!
